Service Description

This first aid course is to instruct candidates on how to deal with given situations. The course focuses on key life-saving skills, and provides an opportunity to learn the first aid response to the most common accidents and situations, by preventing minor problems or injuries becoming major ones. On completion of the course, candidates will be able to recognise and deal with: - The principles of first aid - Emergency actions - Unconscious casualties - CPR training - Severe and minor bleeding - Burns and scalds - Shock - Bone, joint and muscle injuries - Communication and delegation - Dressings and first aid kits - Nose bleeds - Electrocution - Chocking - Eye irrigation - Falls - Seizures - Bandage usage
